Flash Gordon – Pit Of Peril And Death. 350921.

Last week Flash captured Queen Azura and escaped, but they are now in the tunnels of the Death Dwarves. Azura may be an evil Witch Queen, but her ordeal has turned her into a vulnerable woman who depends on Flash for her safety. She agrees to lift her oppression over the dwarves. Will it work to keep her safe?

Back at the cottage in the woods, the house is a firey blaze. Dale is trapped inside and rescued by Zarkoff. Hey, how did they get there? Last I knew, they were at the palace, and determined to set Flash free at all costs. The two subject themselves to the invisibility machine. Ah, I think this episode is mixed up in and should have come before the previous show. Oopsie, I didn’t catch that in time.

A horse approaches, and it’s the General. He captures Dale, but Zarkoff is invisible and can’t be seen. To prevent it’s further use, Zarkoff smashes his machine. Back in the castle, Kahn forces the castle guard to open the door to the firey pit, but the General comes in to claim rulership. The General blusters about how he could defeat Flash, or Zarkoff, if only… Kahn points out that he did have his fair chances, but was soundly defeated at each turn.

When the door is opened, Kahn is satisfied that there are no survivors of the pit of fire, and surrenders his sword to the General. Elsewhere Azura and the still invisible Flash try to get out of the land of the dwarves. Though she has given them back their freedom, they are doubtful, and want to have her killed. Flash comes to her rescue.

PS: whew! lots of action that’s just too hard to summarize. Watch for more action packed episodes as this series begins coming to a close.
