The latest world news is the Peace Conference in Paris, and Gracie wants to go to cover it in her newspaper column. Maybe she’ll just do something easier like explaining atomic energy? Instead, Gracie goes on a crime stopping spree. Where can Gracie learn about the crime situation? It’s off to City Hall. Not affording the bail on any, Gracie gets a bandit who the cops don’t have any evidence on, and is to be set free.

Back home with her burglar, Gracie shares with Meredeth Willson her plan to reform the criminal. How can she hide the real identity of Louie from George? Louie is supposed to be a new singer with Meredeth’s orchestra, and looking to pick up pointers from Sugarthroat George. Louie meets George, and misunderstandings ensue over their occupations. Meredeth plays the Gypsie, which leads into the commercial.

The experiment in rehabilitation is on, but will Gracie manage to make Louie an honest man? Of course, Bill Goodwin has his beliefs that he sponsor product is the cure for Louie.
