Vic and Sade – Uncle Fletchers Landlady. 460919

Rush is talking with Orville Sweeney and Vic when they have their conversation interupted by uncle Fletcher entering in a barely controlled emotional frenzy. What’s the trouble? What has the usually talkative Fletcher speechless?

In a previous episode we found how Fletcher’s landlady liked to lay out his meals ahead of time when she had to be away. Fletcher is beside himself when he announces that Miss Keller will be gone for the entire winter. She hasn’t made his meals ahead of time, but instead has made arrangements for him to room and board at a list of other ladies, and houses in town. There’s even a few locations out of state.

It takes some doing to calm him down, and one of Sade’s worries comes to light. Miss Kessler is one of the proposed boarding houses, and she wants to offer her place to Fletcher for the whole season. She also can’t quite get Orville’s name right. Sade finally has her family pride kick in and stops the worries by insisting that Fletcher stay with her and Vic for the duration.
