Vic and Sade – Uncle Fletcher Arranges Phone Calls. 451129

As Vic talks with a friend from across the alley, Mr Sprawl, Sade enters with Rush after they’ve finished doing the dishes. Sade offers Mr Sprawl a little hospitality, then the phone rings. It’s a call for uncle Fletcher. The elderly Mr Sprawl talks about his shawl with pockets, so he can put his chocolate covered peanuts inside.

The phone rings a few times before uncle Fletcher enters. Will he answer the persistant thing? Who could be callling for him? Fletcher Rush refuses to be rushed, and when he finally picks up, his friend Ernie gets tired of waiting, and hangs up.

More phone calls come in, this time from BB Ball. Vic comments that each phone call has been from a different person. Telephone’s ringing! Telephone’s ringing! Who could it be this time? What’s the reason for the flood of calls from Fletcher’s cronies. Sade suspects it’s one of his childish tricks, and doesn’t want to be any part of it.

Telephone’s ringing! Telephone’s ringing!
