Flash Gordon – The Antidote. 350710.

Last week Doc Zarkoff has freed Dale and Flash. With a warning from Dale, Flash switches his drugged drink, and the Witch Queen drinks her own concoction instead. Today Flash has his cup of antidote and drinks it, and has his memory fully restored.

Flash finally recognizes his friends, but for the gaps in his recent memory, Doc fills him in. Gratitude is expressed all around. Flash feels badly about poisoning the queen, and proclaims himself king over the world that was deeded to him previously by Ming.

However, he doesn’t feel up to the daily grind of leading so he offers Queen Azura her job back to lead the people, but under his authority. Flash still doesn’t trust Azura, even with her memory loss.

Though she knows Flash was influenced by the memory loss drug, Dale is still a little upset after being treated like a slave by Flash. Can she get over the way he acted, and fawned over the evil queen?

In an official act to display the military might, Azura has the army pass in review before Flash to show the new king his new armies. As the military parade passes by, the strange and magical weapons are described, and commented on.

Though the queen and Flash have their power plays under control, the generals of the armies down below have their own minds and ideas. They aren’t willing just yet to believe that the Queen isn’t in full control anymore, and An assassination plan is devised. Will Flash Gordon be able to throw it off?
