Trouble awaits on the trail ahead for the Lone Ranger and Tonto. They approach Sunset House, where gamblers sit around a roulette wheel, playing for high stakes. The Hawk is the most notorious killer in the West. Nobody has ever seen his face. Miss Diana, the daughter of the owner of the gambling hall has found a note that implies that one of the gamblers that just left is the Hawk. What if he was the one who lost big? What should she do? Why, ride out to meet Tonto and the Lone Ranger, of course.
Meanwhile, there’s trouble brewing out of town, at the mine. What’s going on there? A conflict between ranchers and miners? When the Lone Ranger is found snooping, he has a group of cowboys chasing after him. After giving them the slip, Lone Ranger and Tonto meet with Miss DianaThey discuss the plan to trap the Hawk into exposing himself.
Since the scene fades out, and the listener isn’t in on the secret plan, you’ll just have to listen in to the exciting, and suspenseful end to see how the Lone Ranger brings together all the loose ends.
