My Little Margie – Timmy’s Christmas. 521221

The jolly Yuletide season is hear, and Margie Albright talks with her dad about Christmas festivities. Freddie enters to butter up Margie’s dad, Vern Albright, and jokes about Christmas gifts, particularly confusion over what a pair of mules are. Mrs Odett wants to borrow one of Margie’w slinky evening gowns, a matter for a few quick jokes.

On the way to the department store, the Albrights meet a nice boy, Timmy, who is poor, and in need of some Christmas charity. On the other hand, a wealthy colleague of Vern’s has a spoiled nephew who needs to have a lesson on good behavior taught to him.

After shooting the department store Santa, Ralph thinks he has killed old Saint Nick, and it’s up to Margie and Freddie to track him down. In mock hard boiled radio detective fashion, the two put on their private eye hats to expose the gritty truth of the matter. They find their suspect in a bar, knocking down shots of milk to drown his sorrows. Christmas miracles are in store for turning out a happy ending.

Note: Verna Felton is Mrs Odett. Gayle Storm is Margie, and Charles Farrel is her dad.
