Flash Gordon – Death Battle. 350518.

To recap, after a series of entanglements with Ming the Merciless, the lovely Princess Aura, Flash, Dale and Doctor Zarkoff have struggled through several bouts of captivity, marriage proposals, and escapes.

Being held captive by the Hawkmen, there had been a rumble, and the lights went out. It appears that the planet of the Hawkmen is near destruction, but Doc Zarkoff claims he can save the planet. The Hawkman king extends a pardon to Flash if he can save the planet, and his capital city.

Zarkoff races off to the source of the problem and has built a machine that crackles, and emits bluish light, but it puts the city back on an even keel. The grateful Hawkman king arranges a big wedding party for Flash and Dale. All goes well, until Ming the Merciless approaches the city. He’s not a happy camper when he learns of the Hawkmen’s betrayal of him, and of the marriage party. Instead, he plans a fight to the death.

Voltan, King of Hawkmen gives Flash his own sword and wishes him luck in the battle. The fight rages, but at one point a masked rider rescues Flash from certain death. During a break in the action, Ming and the royal party lounge, and the masked rider makes passes at princess Aura. Who is he? Flash thinks the voice is familiar. The battle comes down to Flash and the masked man. When the mask is off, he is revealed as a prince, and the crowd demands a tie be called. Both are released, but what will Ming have to say about this?

Stay tuned for the next amazing adventure.

Hey Keith, you know that missing show in the Flash Gordon series? The one you had the same show with two different dates? I think I know what happened.

I was just previewing the next show, which is labeled for yet another date in the future, but it fits in the story line between today’s episode, and the previous one.

Don’t know if it’s too late to fix it. Just wanted to point it out so watchers of the show notes will know what is going on.
