Cisco Kid – Cashiered. 530219.

Its the famous Robin Hood of the Old West, Cisco Kid! Today’s exciting story is about how the army provided protection to advance the progress of the railroads. An army officer who was cashiered from military service comes to town. Two tough cowboys summarize their past as scouts and cattle rustlers, and their relationship to the former major.

Meanwhile, Cisco and Pancho ride to meet up with their old friend, the army major. They wonder why he was cashiered, a term for being stripped of rank and kicked out of the army in disgrace. As Cisco meets up with the daughter, Amy, and the major, they learn more of the story. The major is trying to clear his name, and he needs to confront Rawhide Joe, and his hardcase partner about an indian uprising that was a front for a cattle rustling scheme that got the major booted out of the army for cowardice.

Far from being a coward, the major finds Rawhide Joe, his former scout, and a scuffle breaks out when Major Allen demands that Joe leave with him. In the fight the major is shot. Although Cisco has been riding hard on his trail, he’s too late and the major was killed. Now it’s up to the daughter to get vengance for her father.

Cisco goes to appeal to the commanding officer at the fort to present the case, and ask for honors to be done for the fallen former soldier. All that Cisco needs to do is finish the task that was started, and bring in Rawhide Joe. It may not be as simple as all that though.

Elsewhere, the cowboys are at their hideout and make their preparations against Cisco. However, they underestimate how easy it will be to put an end to the mighty Cisco. On the way to the confrontation, Pancho gets confused over a figure of speech. Hey, it’s about time. It has to happen at least once per episode. I think it must have been in Pancho’s contract or something.

The wiley Cisco spots the trap that Rawhide Joe has set, and plans to sneak around the situation to trap their ambushers. Will the strategy work? Playing dead, the Cisco Kid and Pancho spring to life to take the bad guys down in a fist fight as they capture Rawhide Joe to take him back to the army. The army commander gets his full confession, and justice is done for restoring military honors as well as dishing out punishment for the law breakers.

Warning kiddies: Muschy stuff alert as Cisco says his good byes to Amy, the Army officer’s daughter.
