Lone Ranger – Butterfield Stage. 470117.

A group of scientists need a mineral from a meteor, but the samples being sent back East are being intercepted from the stage coach line.

Today, Lone Ranger and Tonto discuss the plan to ride with the stage as extra guards, and to watch over the shipment unrecognized. There is an unknown government agent working on their side, and can be identified by his wearing a silver bullet. Their conversation also serves to fill in events and concerns from the previous episode.

Loaded with passengers, luggage and cargo, the Butterfield stage rolls across the prairies. The driver and shotgun rider know who Lone Ranger is, and why he’s there, but who is the mystery contact? Ever watchful, the Lone Ranger is on full alert to figure where, and when the stage coach will be robbed.

Just when Lone Ranger has acted on a plan to find out who his secret contact is, the real robbers spring into action. Things get confusing and dangerous as the stage is stopped, and gunplay creates a panic. Will the bandits get away? Will the secret agent be identified?

A mysterious indian spirit cave is discovered, which seems to be the hideout of the bandits, but there’s no time to chase after bad guys, and keep the stage under guard. What will our heros decide? Guard the stage, or chase bad guys?
