A band of outlaws are gathering, and get word of diamonds that are just waiting to be stolen. Elsewhere, Cisco and Pancho are riding the trail to Cottonwood, sharing riddles as they go.
When Cisco crosses paths with the outlaws, he has to try to figure out their pattern of doing things to catch them. Have the bandits come up with a perfect situation to get away with their crimes? Cisco might not have to worry about the bandits, when that shop owner with the shot gun lays his own trap to catch a thief. Too bad the shop owner mistook Cisco for one of the gang, and captured him instead.
It gets worse when the sheriff finds the bag of diamonds in Cisco’s possession. Thinking that he has the right man, the sheriff isn’t concerned when Cisco warns him not to leave the store unguarded. A jail break is in order, so Cisco can take the law into his own hands and save the day for justice.
