Phil gets a phone call from his daughter to talk about Santa, and Christmas. A child actress, of corse. Jack tries to tune in the radio but has trouble with the stations. Will he find the show that Don is on amid the crazy music, drama, and commercials? Maybe Jack will get some good gossip about him, rather than all the hate mail he has been getting lately. Lewella Parsons makes a radio appearance on Jack’s dial.
Note: The real life Baby Alice would be about 4 years old at this time. If she were starting school, it would have been in a preschool program of some kind. It wasn’t always customary to have a kindergarten at most schools. With Mary out with laryngitis, Jack says a special goodbye at the show close.
