The big hunting expedition failed when our heros tracked down a wild mountain lion. Today in the Jot ‘Em Down store, grandpap stops in to discuss the mess. Things are looking bad when the citezens of Pine Ridge pass around a petition to run Lum and Abner out of town if Irving isn’t caught soon. Cedric could be the last hope for Lum, but after being attacked by the wild cat, he’s not so ready to go hunting again. Still, there’s a surprise ending that makes Lum happy. Irving is not only found, but has a new home.
