Taking word of their new friend, Ben Gillis the prospector, back to Captain Midnight a plan to remove those troublesome trees is layed out. They’re too big to chop down, but Ben is an expert with dynamite, which he uses in his job as prospector. With Bud still having jungle fever, the medical need is still as important as ever to return to a hospital as soon as possible.
Besides the trees, which just may be coming down, Captain Midnight shares concerns about Bud’s health, and Chuck’s ability to take off and fly him to safety.
