A wealthy man, Bill Blain, calls his niece and nephew to tell them how he plans to dispense his will. By law, he has to leave it to his relatives, but has a clause that nothing will be paid out if he’s murderd. At least not until the murderer is caught. To insure that he continues living, Blain hires Blackie as bodyguard. Taking all the measures possible, alerting the police, and locking Blain in a room, Blain is still murdered.
