Wild Bill Hickock – Battle at Bear Creek. ep62, 520319.

On the trail of rustlers, Bill and Jingles find themselves on the plains of New Mexico. Bill wants to check with the shipping company to see if there has been signs of any of the rustled brands, when gunshots are sent his way.

Who could be shooting? Bill and Jingles race to find out, but the shooter gets away for now. Changing his approach, Bill rides to observe the happenings on a local ranch. Is there suspicious activity? Jingles sets himself up as bait to get in close with the suspected rancher.

The trouble is that Bill isn’t the only one who is well known through the land. Jingles is recognized and kidnapped. Can Bill rescue Jingles before it’s too late? Will there be a gunbattle before the rustlers can be taken down? I think you know. So load up on those sugary treats and… Reach into the box, take a handful out. Pop them into your mouth as you runabout.
Note: Jingles is frustrated at Bill not going straight to the ranch to investigate, and going to town instead. In the Wild West, cattlemen’s association would have agents at railroad lines to inspect brands. This was not only an attempt to catch rustlers, but in putting small ranchers and farmers out of the business of selling cattle. If you weren’t registered with the association, paid their high dues, and do business through them, even legitimate owners of cattle might have them confiscated, losing both the cattle and the price of the sale.
