Abner is still in hot water with Lizabeth over his dressing up the store’s dressing dummy in women’s clothes. She got word that he was getting intimate with a strange woman. Lum talks to Squire Skimp to review all the details. To hide from Lizabeth, Abner has disguised himself, but Lum recognizes him anyway. The gang all play along to make Abner think his disguise is working. A comic ploy that the guys are reusing from an earlier season when Lum was going into hiding when he thought the police were looking for him, and trying to put him back in jail.
In his alias, Abner gets fed advice from Lum and Squire on how to man handle his woman. Will it work? In Squire’s words, “We’ll know when we see Abner again.”
