My Friend Irma – Newspaper Column. 520203.

Irma is thrilled at her new job at the newspaper, until Jane tells her that they won’t be paying her anything to do it. Jane reads, and critiques Irmas column. It may not be high class writing, but the misuse of grammar is something to laugh at.

Though her writings are cute and funny, in the real world, they are slanderous. Or is that libel? Jane and professor Kropotkin try to tell Irma the difference, and the trouble she’ll be in if her column goes to print.

Gossip columnists of the world look out. Irma is determined to turn in her story, and she has hit the streets looking for news stories. Irma gets her big break at a good news story, if only she could recognize one when it’s right in front of her. In a crazy scene that could only happen to Irma, she and all her friends end up in the police station, accused of various crimes. Will her article ever make it to print? Just stay tuned and learn.
