A Ray Bradbury story. A few friends talk about the new concept of taking a vacation by travelling to a different time. When one of them does go back in the past, worries arise over whether the future will be changed, if a mental screening is needed for those wanting to make a time travelling excursion.
Meanwhile, a trip to Mexico of the past is arranged, and our American travellers make their escape from responsibility for a while. A trip to the past, of course. The pleasure trip is broken up though when someone from their future comes to drag Mr Traverse back to help with the war effort he momentarily left behind.
The Searcher on their trail turns up dead, and the Traverses get a little more time on their vacation, but can they keep hiding from any more Searchers? I guess we won’t find out since the audio stops abruptly. We can always hope they did.
