Vic and Sade – Landladies Photos Again. 410207

A black and white photo of an old-fashioned movie theater marquee with the name "Bijou" in large letters at the top. The marquee features several movie titles, including "The Lone Ranger Returns" and "East of Eden." A few people are visible walking past the theater on the sidewalk.
Rush Gook, who was born Victor Rush Meadows and adopted at age nine, is his usual garulous self, providing all the latest news from Edwards High School.

Uncle Fletcher is in the Gook home today to show off pictures from his landlady. Though uncle Fletcher always seems to have been about everyplace, and knows just about everybody, he has never been to the hometown of his landlady, or knows much about her pictured relatives. It intrigues him all the more as he shows off the images in the album.

Vic and Rush aren’t so interested in the photos, but more in uncle Fletcher getting sidetracked to talk about people he does know. The Gooks, including Sade end up doing some synchronized saying, um…” as uncle fletcher marvels at the folks he doesn’t know, and at his never visiting Boone, Iowa, the place featured in the album.
