In the small town of Stoney Flats, population: 50, Cisco and Pancho ride up and marvel at the changes that have been made. They talk with their friend, aunt Polly who is worried, and tells how she hasn’t been keeping her place in top shape anymore. She has been ill, and Cisco decides to go back to Truckston, a neighboring town, to get a few supplies for aunt Polly. Some things are just more important than fighting banditos.
Instead, all Cisco gets is the run around. Nobody believes that all he is shopping for is flowers for aunt Polly. It takes some doing, but a potted flower is found. It makes Cisco fighting mad though when he gets harrassed and the flower pot is broken in the scuffle. Somebody’s going to have to pay for this, but in the process Cisco exposes a gang of murderers.
After his typical fight in rounding up the bad guys, and getting the sheriff to believe him, Cisco finally manages to get his flowers to aunt Polly. It even paves the way for Polly to make up withher friend, the sheriff.
