Eddie opens with a fast paced run of jokes on farmers, finances, and sports, then sings a song about Texaco Town. Eddie is, of course, the mayor of Texaco Town, and had an arguement with one of the citezens on the show that ends up with them fighting like cats and dogs. Literally. The orchestra plays a blend of tunes.
Deanna Durbin, only 13 years old sings. wow, what a voice. Eddie jokes about his home life with five girls in his family Parky Carcass bounces jokes off Eddie about lawyers, dogs, politics,and more. Eddie sings, what a Sweet Melody. It sounds like a slightly Mexican flavored version of, Now’s the Time to Fall in Love.
Eddie follows it up with, Sing Baby Sing. A boy named Bobby enters to joke about farm animals, and ends up with a lesson from Eddie about reading the Bible. Eddie tells how the Bible is still relevant for this time, and through the ages. Bobby sings the spiritual, Let My People Go. Eddie wraps up with a song, and appeal to support the sponsors product.
