Wild Bill Hickock – The Voice Of Echo Canyon. ep33, 1951.

Normally Wild Bill and Jingles respond to a call for help when they go on a case, but today it’s due to a chance visit to an old friend.

As they ride up to old Charlie’s place they are greeted by gunshots. What has him on edge? There’s trouble with cattle rustlers, but that’s not all. There’s wierd things happening down in echo Canyon, and even Charlie’s daughter, Linda, is afraid when she reports gunshots, and strange voices.

Sounds like it’s time to top off that sugar tank with a batch of sweet crunchy treats. The ones that make you say, “Kids love pops, moms love pops, and pops love pops.”

Johnny Docket is missing, and thought to be gunned down. Bill and the whole gang go for a look in the canyon to look for clues. Flood waters have washed out all signs of Johnny, but how did he get away? Elsewhere a couple of rustlers sit tight in their cave as they watch Bill and jingles snoop around, but can they keep on going unnoticed by the ever watchful eye of Wild bill? The rustlers get to escape for now when the badly wounded Johnny is found and taken home.

Before bill and Jingles get busy with those bad guys, it time to boost that sugar tank again and eat those tasty treats right out of the box, or out of a bowl with milk. They’ll always be ten times fresher with that pure aluminum bag to store them in.

Bill and Jingles are hot on the trail of the rustlers. Ride along as the questions to the mystery are solved. What is making those wierd echoing voices? Will Bill find the secret entrance to the cave hideout? There’s also a mystery of how the cattle tracks were made to disappear.

PS: I think Jingles and the bad guy have just a little too much fun at the end as they play with the echo chamber in the cave.
