Vic and Rush are home alone as Rush reads a few passages of the latest Third Lt Stanley book. Sade enters to interupt Rush and complain that he never finishes anything. Ironic. I suppose what she means is that he doesn’t finish things that she wants him to do, and not the things she interupts him from doing.
Sade goes to read a letter from her sister Bess, and notices a grocery list written in the margin. Rush and Vic feel that the letters from Bess are all too predictable, but Sade insists on reading it. Listen in and gets all the latest gossip from Bessy, although Rush interjects a comment or two, Sade jumps him for being smart with her. Vic is politely interested, and with the letter reading done, the program ends.
