On a cruise from Egypt, Dick has been asked to protect the archaeologist from the mysterious Man with the Yellow Face. Today Dick confronts the strange villain, who is an Egyptian who only wants to regain the Black Pearl of Osyrus. Does it have some kind of religious significance? The Man with the Yellow Face explains the history of the pearl.

Suddenly the man, and the pearl are missing. Dick Tracey is shot, but fortunately the wound isn’t bad. He’s a manly man, he can tough it out.

Pat and Dick need to be extra watchful if they are to catch the mystery man and protect their artifacts as the ship is to pull into port soon.
