Now let’s see what’s going on, down in Pine Ridge. Today Lum is out collecting on over due accounts while Abner mans the store and answers the phone. He’s a litttle short handed to get deliveries out, and the stock is depleted and many items have run out.
With his worries over the phone calls done, grandpap pulls a prankk on Abner for April Fools Day. The old gent shares another joke he has planned to pull on Lum when he comes in. A box of soap candy. A limping Lum enters to tell how he has already been pranked this morning. Will he catch it again from grandpap?
The three gents turn to talking about a few prize winning pranks that have ben done in town by various residents. Cedric enters and presents a prime target to fall for the candy trick, but he seems to have outsmarted Lum and Abner with his own prank.
