Wild Bill Hickock – A Blind Trail. ep27, 1951.

Bill and Jingles are on hand to help a sheriff with investigating a murder.

Wade Ingram was a friend of Bill’s and he wants to see justice is done. The prime suspect, Benito has escaped, and Bill sets out on the trail to bring the guilty party to face their punishment. I think that Bill suspects that Benito may not be guilty, but he still needs to catch up with him to get his side of the story.

As Bill and Jingles ride on the trail, suddenly shots come their way.

Commercial time. Eat all you want of those golden hearts of corn. Kept in that pure aluminum bag, and they’re already sweetened for you, so don’t put any sugar on them. Unless you just want to ping on the sugar rush.

Benito Florres is the likely suspect that Bill is closing in on. All they find is his sassy sister. The senorita, Juanita changes her tune when she learns of the identity of her callers, She trusts Bill’s reputation, and that he’ll do the right thing.

Juanita invites them in and tells her brothers story. It’s a tale of circumstantial evidence. But, when she thinks the lawmen only want to take her brother to jail, Juanita runs away. As our heros plan to set out to follow Juanita to her brother’s hideout, they first have to deal with a big bruiser who dukes it out in a fist fight with Wild Bill. There’s something fishy going on between this big guy and the sheriff, but what can it be?

Elsewhere, Bill and Jingles are catching up on their cold trail of Ben and Juanita Flores, when suddenly there’s an explosion, and a landslide.

Despite their close call, Bill and Jingles continue their search for Beenito Florres. The ordeal has given Bill time to figure things out, and he asures Benito that justice will be done, and he will be set free by the courts. How can he be so sure?
