Bill and Jingles are riding the wet and rainy trail, and look forward to drying off in town. First, they have to respond to gunshots that ring out, and the crusty gunman who has the drop on them. The old gent is in charge of the telegraph office, and he tells Bill about the shooting that just went down. It’s enough to make Bill worry, and send out his own telegram for help.
Time for a sugary treat that is kept fresh by a bag of pure aluminum. The treat that is loved by kids, moms, and pops.
As Bill and Jingles await reinforcements from the Cattleman’s Association, he and Jingles can relax with their host, Abe. When the responce comes back to Bill, and it seems quite normal, Abe claims there’s something wrong. How does he know? There’s something bothering Bill as well, and when he checks up on it, he finds himself in danger. The plot thickens and twists as the mystery begins to emerge. Bill fights back by setting up his own trap to lure the bad guys into making their move.
But first! Time for a sugar rush, and building up a store of energy with those crunchy pops with the sweetning already on them. Load up big and keep them on the pantry shelf. Hey, I wonder how many of these little dudes I can squeeze into my mouth all at once…
Now it’s time to close in, armed with the inside scoop of what the bad guys are planning. Get ready to ride hard and join in the gunfighting, horse chasing, train robbing adventure. The anticipation is just killing Jingles… well not literally, but you know what he means.
