Hold onto your hat’s! Here comes another rootin’ tootin’ adventure with guy Madison as Wild Bill, and Andy Devine as his big deputy Jingles.
As our heros chase down a couple of bank robbers, the bad guys get away, for now. It all happened so fast that Bill doesn’t even know who the robbers are, so he and Jingles head back to town. Elsewhere, the bandits share their loot, and their story with the rest of the gang. The gang leader, an old timer named Nippy is afraid of having Bill on his trail so makes his own plan to strike first.
Right after a yummie break to fill up on some sweet cruchy corn goodness. Don’t mess around with just one box, you’ll want plenty on hand, and mom can use that aluminum foil lining for packing sandwiches.
In town, ony the most general of descriptions is forthcoming. Though several robberies have gone down in recent weeks, until now they were all thought to be unrelated. Bill has noticed some connection. When Jingles discovers rattlesnakes planted in their hotel room, is it just an accident, or is the gang doing their dirty work? The practical joker is run down, and Jingles gets his chance to take him down in a fist fight. What does his cryptic messae about Bill having three more aces to draw mean?
The gang members keep up with their plan to get Bill, if they can just quit bickering among each other. Is that such a smart idea Attacking Bill one at a time? who said crooks were always smart.
If only they took time to get some of that crunchy, tasty treat with the sweetening already on them, it might prove that they had some smarts. It’s the food that makes you say, “kids love pops, mops, moms love pops, and pops love pops.”
With another bad guy down, the gang is fast shrinking. By now, Bill knows that the robbers didn’t flee across the border, and knows that he can now track the trail to their hideout. It’s just a matter of time as Bill and Jingles close in and make their move. Might this last bandit be the smartest, and toughest? Old Nippy didn’t get to be old and crusty by being dumb, or was it just luck?
Note: there’s an extra trailer at the end, after a few moments of silence.
