Hosted by Robbert Taylor. After a quick greeting from the mailbag, Robert introduces the King Sisters who sing, Mr Five by Five.

Joan Davis arrives, and talks with Robert Taylor about love and dating. Joan then sings a humorous version of, My Guy. It’s all to tell her love story, and mishaps along the way.

At the requests from the mail bag, Harry James plays as Ella May Morris sings, I Cried for You.

A special dedication is offered for a married couple who are separated for their 25th year wedding anniversary, as the hubby is stationed overseas for the eventwith Nelson Eddie’s song, Through the Years.

Lum and Abner take the stage to recreate a few moments from the Jot ‘Em Down store. Lum wants to learn Jujitsu in case he is called on t go off and fight. Abner has trouble understanding the nuances of the martial arts, though he goes along with Lum’s practice session.

Robert Taylor talks with trumpeter and band leader, Harry James who then plays, the Two O’Clock Jump.

In closing, Robert Taylor says a word about rationing, and supporting the war effort.
