Strange visitor from the planet Krypton, disguised as mild mannered reporter Clark Kent, wages battle for justice. Today, an ad is placed in the classifieds of the Daily Planet. It’s a call for an adventure in a scientific experiment, and enough to catch the attention of Jimmy Olsen.
Perry White hits the roof at the idea of Jimmy going off on his own. Elsewhere the scientists fire up their wierd machines. What are they doing? What is this all about? The ensuing explosion rocks the area for miles around. Was Jimmy involved? Emotions run high back in the Daily Planet as the worst is feared.
Word comes in when the scientists former assistant finds his way to the Daily Planet to tell what little he knows about the experiments, and what they are supposed to be doing. Can it be? Is Jimmy and the professor now rocketing into space? Superman launches himself into the upper atmosphere to overcome the rocketship.
Will his friends be safe? Will they fall victim to the extreme low temperatures of outerspace? The answeres await in the exciting conclusion to today’s episode.
Superman brings the rocket safely back to earth, and the professor gives a press conference to tell about what went right, or wrong with his mission. In addition, Clark finds himself having to explain his whereabouts and take the suspicions of Lois away, that he might actually be Superman.
