Red and Truman joke about the rubber shortage, housing shortage, and losing at the horse races. Ozzie pitches in with the horse comments. Hariet talks to Red about race horses. Ozzie talks about his fat girlfriend. That must have been one before harriot came along.
Ozzie does one of his musical drama songs about zoot suits. Harriot puts in her musical tallents as wel.
Red begins some sketches about life in a big office building. First an insurance office. Harriot is his secretary, Miss Demeanor. Wonderful Smith is a shoeshine boy who gives red a shine. Can Red sell him an insurance plan? Wonderful cant afford it, but roles change after a little gambling.
Next Junior and Harriot visit the office building. They are visiting dad’s office. Ozzie is dad. mom needs money for juniors clothes. She and dad talk privately while junior plays alone: near the window, on the chandelier, and does all he can to cause maximum trouble. Until he is left alone, then it gets worse. Black ink, electric fan, can you say mammy?
Ozzie plays, Pulpacada Pedal. Commercial time.
As a window washer at the office building, Clem Kadiddlehopper gets the job done. He finds his gal, Daisy Doo in the office building. She is the flor scrubber, and complains about the messes she has to clean up. They talk about mistakes they’ve made on the job. Things get a little precarious out on the window washer scaffold. I think another mistake may be about to take place.
Ozzie plays into the closing commercial.
