Lone Ranger – Rattlesnake Inn. 431027. A firey horse at the speed of light. The roar of thunder, and a hearty heigh-Ho Silver! The Lone Ranger rides again!
A storm sweeps through the West, and at Rattlesnake Inn a group of bandits brag about their evil accomplishments. The bandits are stirred up when a new visitor comes in. The stranger wears a mask, but he doesn’t seem to be one of them. After he flees, things settle down, and the latest big plan begins to be shared.
Meanwhile, an old rancher asks his doctor to carry out his last wishes. He doesn’t trust lawyers, and wants to leave his estate to his nephew Jimmy, and a cowhand on his ranche. Weeks go by, and a rush of short scenes to set up the story go by. Nephew Jimmy is robbed of all he owns while travelling. Lone Ranger, Tonto, and Dan make an appearance. A stage coach rushes to Colby so Jimmy can see his uncle Dennis, but falls under gunfire. Dan has joined the stage coach passengers, and helps fend off a shootout from bandits.
Finally, in town Dan now shares what has happened with a local country doctor. Before the doctor can fill Dan in on the violent happenings in town, he is shot. Dan takes the story to the Lone Ranger, The short, choppy, mixed up scenes make it hard to write about, but it makes more sense once the Lone Ranger has the story and swings into action with a plan to solve the mysterious events.
He knows theirs some crook behind the whole mess, and it’s up to the Lone Ranger to expose the outlaw. In a confrontation scene we learn what the outlaw really wants from the old man’s ranch when he faces of with him. The tense scene is broken up when Lone Ranger saves the day, and reunites Jimmy with his uncle.
