Cisco Kid – Cisco Kid Meets His Sister. 521216. The program seems to start in midshow. From the production quality, this seems to be a soundtrack from a movie or TV show, instead of a radio production.
Pancho learns that Cisco has a sister and is surprised at the secret. Even Cisco is a little surprised to hear about having a sister. When Cisco enters the room where his long lost sister is, she has fled out the window. Cisco suspects that something funny is going on.
The plot line is a bit patchy, but it involves a gangster who makes a mysterious phone call to someone he’s doing a job for. The guy tries to get info from Pancho as he plays the shell game with him, and takes Pancho’s money. Meanwhile, Cisco conducts his own search, and puts the moves on a senorita. She warns him of danger, but he doesn’t seem to listen. The gal, named Sue, makes a phone call to a mystery person to say she refuses to play the game anymore.
The Cisco kid is led to a ranch to meet with the main man behind the mystery. The thugs get together and the report is that things are going their way. What kind of trap is being sprung?
Cisco finds the woman who has been described as his sister. Although she is hostile towards him, and they clearly aren’t related, Cisco turns on his romantic charm to win her heart over to him. It turns out the mystery sister is the ranch owner. Her foreman is trying to get her money from some recently sold cattle. He also lets the mystery out regarding Cisco’s sister, and how he plans to set up Cisco to take the fall for murdering the female rancher.
Cisco at least demonstrates that he’s no fool, but that doesn’t mean he’s out of danger. That crazy Cisco has it all, he’s a fighter, and a lover. What about Pancho? Maybe one of these days, he’ll master that shel game.
Note, from the end credit, its definitely a radio show.
Wow, wierd script and production. The announcer Refers to Eastern War Time. but at this time in 19512, I’m pretty sure there was no war going on, other than the Korean war, which wasn’t considered a war. At least not until much later.
Warning: Watch out kiddies. There’s not much fighting and high adventure in this one. Loads of mushy stuff though.
