Marx Brothers Remakes – Ravelli Is A Model Reformer. 910525

Flywheel almost catches Miss Dimple using the phone for personal calls. As Revelli takes a nap, he and Flywheel start to bicker, and a botched line leads to a little ad libbing. Trouble knocks when the landlord wants his rent. Even more trouble knocks when Revelli is picked up by the cops for causing trouble with women on the street.

A lady from an agency meant to reform criminals wants to help, but Revelli seems to consider the stay in jail as a vacation. Flywheel has a scheme to break Revelli out, so he can turn him back in for the reward money.

Before Flywheel can break him out, the prisoners organize their own breakout, which turns into a transition for Revelli to sing, Never Swat a Fly.

It’s the big day in court for Revelli. Courtroom jokes abound. Despite the puns, jokes, and incriminating evidence, the jury finds Revelli innocent. Hey, you can do that when you bribe the jury, and have good writers.

What about paying the rent? That has it’s own way of working out as well.
