Since Squire has been put in charge of the side shows, we find Lum preparing for his trapeze act. Is Lum afraid? Of course not, he says. He’s just afraid that his amazing feats might be too much for the faint of heart in the audience.
He and Squire talk about other circus acts that Lum might try instead. Abner shows up to compare notes with Lum on the different circus acts. There seems to be drawbacks with all the glory in the circus.
