Conversation turns to a big donation Abner gave to the library to promote his run for the presidency. Where did he get that much cash? I wonder if Squire is spending money that Abner doesn’t have?
As Lum and Abner talk about election progress, Abner gets confused about another of Lum’s figures of speech. One thing does come to light, the cash used for the library donation.
