As the band finishes, Mary is still reading her poem and finishes. Jack and Johnny talk about where they have been staying for their visit to Cleveland. Jack introduces the night’s play, Ah Wilderness. Kenny sings, In the Hills of Wyoming.
The spoof of Eugene O’Neil’s play begins. Kenny is the son who drives his parents crazy by staying out with the girls all night. The parents, Jack and Mary, confront the loose behavior that is so ridiculously quaint. Jack tries to tell Kenny the facts of life.
