Don comments on Jack’s recent birthday. Though he tries to avoid the topic, to the observant listener, Jack actually reveals his age. He’s 42, see if you can spot his admission. The running gag about the new contest shows up again throughout the show. The cast talk about their activities while being back in New York. Kenny sings, Moon Over Miami. After another attempt at describing the contest, Jack reads fan mail. Mary types a return letter at Jack’s dictation. Johnny plays, but he, and the show is suddenly cut off with a station air check.
